Last 13 minutes of 2013 :) It's been a complete whirlwind of a year, honestly feels like the first day of 2013 and first day of JC and first day of everything was just a few days ago :/ Anyway this year's been pretty amazing, met a lot of lovely lovely people and had incredible experiences, so I'm incredibly thankful for that ^^ Haha should probably write a proper longer post about 2013 for better closure but no timeee D:
2014, please be good :) Expecting a lot of things from you <3
First time I'm actually making New Year's Resolutions HAHA let's hope I'll actually keep them!
1. Be kinder to others, and to yourself
2. Be less self-centered and more selfless in your actions
3. Do your best in everything, especially in the things you don't want to do
4. Continually remind your friends/family that you love them
5. Exercise more please T.T
Haha they feel more like lifelong goals than NY resolutions but never mind :'D Here's to an amazing year ahead!!! ^^
don't forget where you belong

Back from Batam OCIP! :)) Haha despite the really short trip it's been an awesome four days with amazing people and amazing experiences which I wouldn't miss for the world ^__^ The lessons went surprisingly fine, thank goodness for Belinda without whom I'd have an even worse sore throat by now x.x This trip was also the first time I'm using Bahasa on a regular basis since I moved to Singapore when I was nine HAHA so it was extremely awkward at first but I'm glad I didn't completely forget the language!! Compared to the Vietnam OCIP which was two weeks long I have to say I actually felt closer to this OCIP team, probably since I already know most of the team prior to the trip and I didn't really get to know a lot of the people well in Vietnam >< So yeah sigh really wish the trip could've been longer!!! It reminded me of the reason why I like going for OCIP so much though, there are too many things that one can gain from stepping out of the comfort zone of local CIP :)
Sigh this trip was the most recent in the string of happenings where I questioned what the heck I want to do when I grow older, it's really about time I set my heart on something I want to do >< I've always thought I wanted to go into science and research cos of my interest in these fields, but then again I think my heart is more inclined towards the social services, as in helping people in a more person-to-person manner or just interacting with them in general! It sounds like I should try for medicine, but I don't really know whether I have the dedication that studying medicine demands :/ Sigh need to do a lot of thinking this month ><
Anyhooooo it's December!!!!!! :)))) Undoubtedly my favourite month of the year haha I'm excited ^__^ Hope the year ends well!
