Sudden pangs of missing SC :'( Really miss how much simpler/funner/happier everything was back then, and all the memories of cracking stupid jokes and doodling random crap during lectures and making fun of our teachers and their little quirks just suddenly came back ._. Miss the teachers a lot, somehow there's this bond between the class and all our teachers that just isn't there in JC, no matter how nice the teacher is :/ Haha I don't know maybe I'm just being overly sentimental but :( And all the stress I've been feeling lately has been making me yearn for secondary school again - sure, there was competition, and stress, but everything is amplified here and I guess I still haven't gotten used to it even after 3 months >< This need to fight so hard for what you want (not only in the academics) and the existence of the possibility that all your efforts will go to moot in the end drains me emotionally in a way I've never experienced before ._.

I can't deny, though, that this is how the real world works- in the process of fighting for what you want you'll get broken and bruised, and these brands don't even guarantee success at the end of it all. So I guess it's true that JC is our transition to adulthood- things will only get more intense over the next 1.5 years and maybe over the rest of our lives, but in my mind there's no doubt that as long as we have those we love beside us, going through the same thing together or supporting us along the way, things will turn out fine in the end :) I may not be looking forward to the inevitable stress and pressures that the future will bring, but I am anticipating all the good memories waiting to be made- after all, as some random person on Twitter said, some of the best days of our lives haven't happened yet! ^^

Glad that I live am I that the sky is blue
Glad for the country lanes and the fall of dew
After the sun the rain, after the rain the sun
This is the way of life till the work be done
All that we need to do be we low or high
Is to see that we grow nearer the sky
