Worn out after one day of extended curriculum :( :( (I could never figure out how to spell that word without using spellcheck!!!! -_-) Lectures are somehow so much less stressful but so much more energy-draining than normal classroom lessons!!!!

Went to give the school promo talk to Chongfu Primary kids today :) :) :) Haha it was pretty nerve-wrecking, but it was all okay in the end I think! ;) Haha more than 3/4 of the girls there had short hair!!! xD

Yay super super duper excited to go to US with my family!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D Finally get to go to the country I've been lusting after for ages!!! :D Much as I think I'll like what I see and what I experience there, I don't think I want to stay there for a long period of time!!No matter what the government does, I think (just a personal opinion!!!!!) Asians will forever be considered as second-class citizens there, which isn't exactly ideal living, y'know??Ahhh but before US there's Chinese O's and accelerated leaders camp :( :( I really hope the latter will be fun!!!!I know awesome people who are going too so I guess it will be!!!! :D

Meanwhile, I'll just take things as they come day by day :) Oh and I really want to go read The Old Man and the Sea after the Chinese passage today mentioned a quote from it!!!!!! :D Note to self: Get it from the library after O's!!!!!

Well, if I had to pick someone from the blur of faces that are rushing through my head right now, it'll be my The One Who Will Always Hold A Special Place In My Heart :) :) (oh dear I just realized I'm starting to take a leaf from Alyssa's book and name people with vague capitalized phrases.Oh well! :P) Yes, anyway, despite the fact that we don't talk at all anymore, you truly will remain in my heart (forgive the clicheness) as the best best friend any living person could ever ask for in the world :) I'm truly blessed to know you and to have been your best friend!!I don't know if I ever cross your mind from time to time but I hope that even if you don't, you can still remember all the awesome childhood days we spent together as much as I do!!!!! :D

Hehehehehehehe feeling so high now :D :D :D :D I should really be banned from staying up too late, I have the suspicion that some kind of high hormone gets activated in me when it's past 11.30 pm and I start being completely messed up and high and rambly and can't stop talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL oh gosh why did I just say that I don't know anyway IT IS!!!!! :) :) :) :)

Very very happy with my cumulative L1R5 of 6!!!!! :) :) Really didn't think I'd get it after getting consecutive 7s for all my CAs but thank goodness my EOY English results managed to scrape my English up to an A1 :D :D :D :D :D Haha I think I'm already getting complacent-ish though, MUST NOT GET COMPLACENT!!!!! >:( And shall attempt to start mugging for Chinese O's tomorrow :D :D Which means that I'll probably rush out some Chinese work at 8 pm tomorrow unless I'm feeling particularly motivated xD

Hehehe and the lower sec Talentime yesterday was pretty fun!!!! :D :D Haha the winning classes' performances were really awesome and cool, and my favourite is totally the class that did the airplane movement thingy with their hands man!!!!SO COOL!!!!! :D :D :D Awesome shiz!!!!!

FA workshop today was super awesome man!!!!!! :D :D :D Haha omg I really love HQ events like nobody's business k!!!!! :P Oh no but I think I'm only left with one more Gold Modular workshop/accreds to go to next year :(((( Super scared for OA gold man!!!!Really hope I'll pass it :O

Should I join VIP????I've been contemplating for so long and I still can't come to a decision!!! :( Shall think about it over the holidays :) :)

For some reason I'm in the 'listen-to-emo-songs-and-think-about-life' sort of mood after waking up from my one hour nap :P But every time I give in to that urge I come out of it feeling morbidly depressed so I think I'll leave that to some other time I'm in more dire need to keep my feet grounded xD

Projects Day today was pretty awesome!!!!!!!! :D :D :D Hahahaha had a lot of fun laughing with Joyce in class watching SJ vids and talking crap with people in all the venues!!!! :P And at the end of the day we took the Myers-Briggs personality test!!!!!!!So exciting!!! :D Haha apparently I'm INFJ, and based on the analysis online most of the bits fit me, which is cool! :D

iSCMUN today was pretty awesome!!!!! :D Haha some parts were a bit dry, but most of the time I had a lot of fun with my new-found friends from the delegation of Switzerland ;) They're super awesome k!!!!!!Haha and Switzerland's pretty much a totally neutral country so we didn't really have to debate much :P And and and and the Swiss flag's colours are the opposite of the RC flag's!!!!!! :D :D And Jean Henri Dunant was born in Geneva, Switzerland!!!! :D :D Teehee!

Yes yes anyway the conference was good fun!!! :) I don't think I'll be joining SCMUN anytime soon though, standing behind the podium with the lights on me and pairs of eyes looking at me took all the joy out of public speaking for me -_-

Hehehe and with the insistent encouragement from Joyce I have come to appreciate K-pop!!!!! :D Especially Suju and Kyuhyun ;) I have a long long way to go from becoming a proper fan though :P Sigh, what hard work being fans of Glee, Harry Potter, Darren Criss, Klaine and now Kpop too!!!!!!!Being a fan is harder than it looks man :(

It's a beautiful Thursday evening and here I am sitting in front of my Mac being lulled to sleep by awesome songs and drinking nice cold bubble tea :) Life's good!!!!!!! :D

Terribly disappointed in myself for my Elect Geog marks, but after dwelling on it for about half the school day I realized that moping about feeling sorry for myself isn't going to change anything!Haha despite the slight harshness of Mdm Goh's "Crying is a waste of your energy, pull yourself together and remove all emotions!" I guess there's at least a morsel of truth in it!Pretty sure my CAs will help to pull my Combined Humans back to A1 again anyway so phew :)

Had a revelation just now!!!!Smiling really does help to chase away the blues, at least for a bit! :D I felt downright miserable and mopey throughout the Elect Geog period but during break I started to feel sick of myself sogging around (I don't think this word exists :P Haha I like making up words k!!!!!!) and started to allow myself to smile and my mood was lifted by about 75%!!!!!! :D So I guess it really is true that smiling releases endorphins and the mere attempt of smiling will already make you feel happier even if you're not!!!So smile everybuddeh!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D Haha okay random public service announcement :P

iSCMUN's so close!!!!!!I'm pretty nervous actually, I really can't speak well in front of large audiences -_- Heck, I can't speak well in front of any number of audience!!!!!How I survived Public Speaking for ULP without collapsing in a heap of sweat is a mystery to me :P Haha but my fellow Switzerland delegates are really nice and funny (although I've only met three of them) so I hope I'll have fun in the process! :) It's hard work understanding all the cheem political terms though :(

The Chronicles of Narnia is lovely :) :) :) :) Although I still can't seem to appreciate The Horse and His Boy, the story doesn't hold as much appeal for me as compared to the other six!!!!

Hehehehe super awesome day out with Amanda Lee, Nicci and Xuan Yi!!!! :D :D :D Went to USS where I surprised myself by taking all the roller coasters there!!! (And let's just blissfully ignore the fact that I squeezed my eyes shut for all the roller coaster rides and still managed to scream like a mad banshee in every single one of them despite not seeing anything...) Out of all the four roller coasters (I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS CANOPY FLYER IS A ROLLER COASTER OKAY?OKAY.) I think I enjoyed the Enchanted Airways the most since it was one of the less scarier ones and I got more and more desensitized to the scariness of it all after the third time riding it xD Haha the other attractions were pretty cool too, although the most memorable ones for me were obviously the roller coasters since they left me the ahem, deepest impression :) (ie queasiness and wobbly-kneedness) The people there are so nice too!!!!!!HAHA I like the chubby dude who sprayed us with the water-sprayer thing while we were being lonely eating beside the dustbin :P It must be nice to work there actually, you get to make people smile and brighten their days just by simple acts!!! :) And attempted to look for gifts for people at the shops but failed miserably :(

Argh. So much to let out, but where in the whole wide world can I be assured of secrecy and be completely away from prying eyes? Who can I trust? Who can't I trust? The world is full of lies and deceit, how can one be perfectly sure that whatever one says won't backfire on them? That the supposed friend one trusted so much and made one believe that they don't judge, they won't judge, will turn around and do the exact opposite of what they said they would do? Humans are judgmental by nature, after all, and no matter what anybody says I don't believe in the existence of people in this world who are truly, completely free of judgement or stereotypes. Sure, there may be people who claim that they are, but being humans, I am sure that when they see someone they immediately form an impression of them. Is that not why first impressions are of such utmost importance nowadays, why people spend thousands of dollars purchasing things that will give them a better image? I am not saying that we should judge and stereotype, but that these are inevitable since they are part of human nature! So, how can you be sure of who you can and cannot trust? How can you believe anybody says anymore? How can you know if everybody around you is not putting on a mask in front of you, or worse, simply tolerating you and your presence? Maybe I'm overthinking everything (my greatest folly!) and I'm making a fool out of myself, but what else can I do?

(Perhaps that this was for the best. Perhaps this will change in the future, but for now, I won't change. This won't change.)

Hehehe had an awesome time at the Social Etiquette/Western Fine-Dining workshop and Personal Effectiveness and Leadership course stuff today!!!!! :D :D Haha especially for the former, the speakers were super funny and awesome!!!Too bad all the stuff that they said gentlemen should do are most probably pretty much unknown to most of the male species in Singapore, unless they've attended the same course before xD And the course in school was pretty fun for the first three-quarters, but it got really dry at the end so :/

Finally a slack day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!In a way I'm glad that we couldn't go to USS tomorrow cos of the different timeslots for the courses for the different classes, so now I have an entire day when I can sit around doing nothing and enjoying life's simple pleasures (lol Mr Bean)! ;) And Rachel lent me her entire Chronicles of Narnia so I'm planning to coop myself up and read for at least 3 hours :) :) So excited!!HAHA.

Awesome awesome awesome official last day of exams!!!!! :D :D :D (although for me it felt like exams ended 4 days ago :P) Haha went out with Isabel, Jia Ye, Rachel, Su-Jin and Sam and we went to Kallang Leisure and did 2 rounds of bowling, even though goodness knows (and I suppose these 5 people now know as well!) I can't bowl to save my life -_- I did manage a strike though, but only because the machine freaking knocked down all the pins for me!!!!!!!HAHA.Nevertheless, I enjoyed the many artistic "GUTTER" videos they showed everytime I managed to gutter twice in a row :P

Then we wandered around for a bit, went to the new and super cool Promenade MRT from where we walked to Marina Bay Sands (so depressingly high class -_- but pretty!! :)) and then on to Marina Barrage, nerding all the way with Physics in the train ("Put your legs further apart and bend your knees to lower your center of gravity so you can balance better!") to Bio ("Adenosine thymine cytosine guanine") and Geog ("The type of breakers here are spilling breakers, which are commonly found in gently sloping beaches and...") at The Helix xD Hahaha nerds shall forever be nerds!!!!!I guess it's a clear sign of my nerdiness and the love I have for my friends that I actually had a lot of fun rattling off stuff with my friends instead of being put off! :P Hahahaha and "We're standing on reclaimed land!" "No, we're standing on a bridge." xD xD

Went on to Orchard where we spent the bulk of the time (ONE HOUR) at Kinokuniya reading books!!!!!HAHA.Su-jin and I discovered a super awesome mystery-thriller book that we were stuck to for practically the entire hour!!!!Feet hurt like a !@#$% after that, but it was worth it! :P

Overall, to sum up this immensely awesome trip, I shall use Rachel's quote:

"I like how we didn't spend forever in a clothes shop, but in a bookshop!"

Haha I'm sorry if you're feeling really bored after getting subjected to my nonsensical rambling! :P My main motivation for posting about daily stuff like this is just for my memories' sake, really, like in the future when I'm 30 or 40 or something (and Blogger better still exist till then!!!!) I can read back about my teenage days and feel glad to remember that there was more than 24/7 mugging and stress ;)

Ah, romance novels like this strengthen my belief in the presence of overwhelming love in this world :) :)

Exams are (technically) over!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D Hahaha left with EL Paper 2 on Monday, which only calls for a bit of revising on Sunday evening/night :P Unfortunately I don't really know what to do now that I have an unusually large amount of free time -_- Throughout the year I kept wanting to do stuff that would take a pretty long time but cos of all the things going on at that time I delayed them and told myself I'd do them after EOYs, but now I don't have a single recollection of any of the things I wanted to do!!!!! :( :( So until I remember something I shall amuse myself with Facebook games and reading old lovely books :) :) :)

OH YES!!!!I wanted to read Narnia!!!!!!!Okay I shall head to the library later :D :D :D Haha oh dear I think I really am a bookworm the thought of reading a good book in the foreseeable future just made me really high :D :D :D :D :D

...blogging feels so weird. It's been a while since I've blogged a proper long blog post, I suppose. But even my language feels different!!!Maybe it's just in my head though.Haiya.Never mind. -_-
