Cold cold cold cold cold cold I'M VERY COLD D:
Today passed pretty quickly,for a Monday.Had PW during recess and we still don't know who our group leader is -_- So sad I missed level recess!!!
Anyway.I hope it won't rain tomorrow morning so we can watch the CNY concert!Kind of weird how they specifically disallowed everyone to wear ethnic costumes though,but whatever. :P Ahhh R&J essay test tomorrow!!!! D: Very very very nervous cos by the way Ms Goh talked to us today it's as if she's saying getting 17/25 is already quite good!And it's not good for me!!! :( And aim for 25 examples...!@#$%
On a brighter note I finished planning for tomorrow's case scenario! :D It's much harder than it looks but it's pretty fun! :D Haha and Sophia (my deskie) was like 'ouch'-ing everytime she read what injuries I wrote for each casualty! xD kind of funny...no?Never mind.

I don't get why everyone claims Romeo and Juliet is the greatest love story of all time when there're books like The Notebook! :( Just finished rereading the latter and I started tearing at the end of the book!!!!Haha well sure one of the reasons is just cos I'm a crybaby sop but Noah and Allie's love story's really really touching!!!! :) R&J's interesting in its own way but after that enlightening Lit lesson I really can't think of it as a love story anymore... -_-
I don't really know how to study for Lit!I'm just reading and rereading Act 1 its notes and I don't think that's enough considering my suckiness at analyzing text -_- Haiya never mind.Oh yeah my favourite priest in CTK is being transferred to another church!!!! :( :( So sad!!

Wow really slacked like mad today...Spent the day alternately sitting in front of the computer/reading/sleeping/eating!!! :D So fun!

Am very very tired today.School passed with me in a zombie-like state but at least I started waking up during FAC training! :D Ahh now that my Amaths and Physics are okay Emaths has to confuse me all over again :(
Did all my homework for this weekend before and after tuition so I'm happy! (: I'll use tomorrow for slacking/studying for R&J essay!Meh so stupid of me to forget to bring back my SS textbook. >:/ Now I can't finish my PT by this weekend to minimize the amount of homework I'll have over the CNY holidays!!
Haha my tuition friend was so amused when she saw that I SMS people in proper (most of the time anyway) English! xD But aren't SMSes so much nicer to read when the other party replies in complete sentences? (: Or am I the only weird person who feels like that...? -_- Never mind...

Ahhh what hectic two days ~~~
After French yesterday I had to deal with a pretty big pile of homework which rendered me unable to go online/study for today's FAC test :O And after homework I flopped dead on the bed!Yay! :D Oh yeah 2.4 km trial run was okay compared to the past two years,surprisingly!Still got a C and barely missed a B though :( Haha and my thighs ached like nobody's business today!!
Today was nicer! :) School was bearable and RC was fun!! :D Just came back from a make-up piano lesson and am finishing up with Physics work...Oh yeah I got super super super super frustrated with Amaths and Physics two days ago and I found both pretty easy today!Hmph.I bet I'll be tearing my hair out in frustration again by tomorrow or next Monday... -_-
I'm happy with my Chem test marks!! :D Kind of sad about not getting full marks though... (alas,the life of an overachiever!) Congrats to Isabel for topping the class!!! :D

SC ambassador duty today was pretty okay! :) Actually it was a bit boring but never mind :D Went to mcdonalds with Jan after it was done and freaking devoured my cheeseburger and french fries in 15 minutes, I was so hungry! After drinking the whole cup of Milo the bloatedness started kicking in though -_- But it was a very nice albeit unhealthy meal!!! :D After going home slacked for about 2 hours before sleeping for another 2 hours (I feel like a pig.Why have I been sleeping so much this year? -_-) and then going to piano tuition for the first time in about 1 and a half months! xD My teacher broke her leg :( Anyway piano was pretty fun except for the fact that she told me my sight-reading will prevent me from getting a distinction for March's exam!It's quite expected actually I just passed my sight-reading the last practical test :P And I don't think I can hit the 90 mark for distinction in practical even with awesome sight-reading skills anyway :O
Hmmmmm.I'm bored.I hope we're eating pizza tomorrow :D :D :D

What a nice (although very tiring) day! :D
School was okay,Chem test was pretty easy,but I'm starting to have problems with both of my Maths now! -_- Meh.
FAC training was fun!!! :D :D Argh got a fricking gigantic bruise at the side of my knee though.It was pretty invisible when I was on the way home but a few minutes after my mum helped me put on some medicine I realized it looked really swollen and purple and red and blue!I'd appreciate the colorfulness of it all if only it didn't hurt xD Hope it heals quickly!!! :) Haha and realized I still have a phobia of closing the stretcher after my closing stretcher fourth finger accident. -_- Actually it's not so much a phobia as feeling paranoid that the same thing will happen :P Must. Get. Over. Paranoia!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah thanks in advance to Nicci for agreeing to teach me how to do under obstacle better! :P It's already the third or fourth time and I'm still not good at it!!!Gaaaah :(

The past few days have been really nice! (:
HCL test was pretty hard, SS today was easy and I hope the Chem test tmr's going to go fine! :) Thank goodness Chem is before recess tomorrow!So I can finally slack and stop studying during recess! :D And I'm starting to like Amath and Physics now!Haha I think I only like subjects I understand :P So it'll probably be a love-hate relationship with these two subjects for me!
Ahhh under obstacle stretcher drills are much harder than they look!And what we did today was without casualty!!!I definitely need more practice!!!!
On a similar note I'm really excited for Evac Gold workshop/accreds!!! :D So fun!

GAAAAH DIE AMATHS DIE -bashes worksheet repeatedly-
Today wasn't a very nice day.Eyes were 99% glued shut practically throughout the SPA talk. -_- Got frustrated and confused during Amaths.Got bad bad bad results for Recipe for Romance task.Heard that if you got one mark above mine it's already considered good work though so I'm not that depressed.Am very very very scared for my Full Lit results if 8/12 is good! :(
On a lighter note,Full Lit lesson was really awesome! :D I love Romeo and Juliet man!!!! :D Haha discovered that I've been reading it at a superficial level though since I've been thinking it's an epic love story until today when I found out that R & J might not have really loved each other! o.O
I've decided to give myself a break until 8 before revising SS/Chem again.My brain has been fried from doing Maths (E/A) homework since I reached home!

Just finished tidying my cupboards! :) The tidying bit was totally unplanned,I just wanted to look for something then I saw the horrible horrible mess and couldn't just leave it like that!!!Tidied my big fat file full of angel/ward/mortal letters (there's at least 100 in there!!!),found the key to my locked drawer (in an old wallet...-_-) and opened it up to find my old diaries!!! :D So exciting!!!Then I started reading and I really don't remember anything about what I wrote!But I'm really really glad I decided to keep diaries when I was young! :) Found a whole book of stickers too!Forgot I used to collect stickers... xD Kay enough reminiscing!I'm starting to feel old. :( Anyway I'm happy cos I've never seen my cupboards this neat before!!! xD
Today has been a good day (: Finished studying SS and Chem!!! :D :D Not confident about either yet though. :/

Today (so far) wasn't as productive as I hoped it would be,but it's still pretty okay lah :D Slacked and procrastinated until after lunch,then started studying SS and finished studying, then decided I needed a small little 15-minute break, and ended up being online for 1 hour -_- Hence I conclude that I have very little willpower when it comes to stopping myself from being online for too long! :( Boo!
Kay.I should start on my Chem now.I brought back the Chemistry Matters book but I didn't bring back the big green book!And I like studying from the latter better (lol rhyme!!! :D)! :( Oh well.At least the test's not on Monday...

I'm tired.
1. Came to school dead beat and practically slept through 4 of my classes.
2. Came home and first thing I do is drag myself over to the bed and slept for 3 hours.
3. I'm really really dreading tuition now.
4. That's another day I wasted not studying for next week's three tests.
MEHHHH falling sick sucks like !@#$%^&*!!!!According to my mum I apparently always fall sick within the first month of school cos of holiday-withdrawal symptoms! xD Hopefully that's true and I'm not that stressed to the point of getting sick already! o.o Actually I don't think I'm all that stressed lah.Everything's still pretty manageable,thank goodness!
Hey I suddenly feel better after blogging! :D Ooh maybe this is like therapeutic blogging or something!! xD Still feeling sleepy though so I think I'll go take another little nap before going off for tuition.

I'm home and in dire need of a nice hot bath!
Today was a pretty normal day as far as days go,and RC meeting was super awesome and exhilarating!!!! :D Worried about FDC though :/ Hope we'll come out of it okay!! :) And I freaking left my RC bag in school!!!!So I was freaking out (silently) from when I realized it (in the MRT) until Su-lin ma'am told me my bag was in the RC room! xD Honestly I think I would've been worrying about whether anyone took it and where it is and stuff like that all night if not for that :) Thank you to everyone who actually replied my frantic SMS on whether anyone saw my bag!!! :D I didn't expect so many people to acknowledge it! xD
K I'll go do my Chinese tuition homework now.Oh yeah everyone in my tuition class got A1s and A2s for last year's HCL EOYs!!!!!!!!!!Only this other guy and I got Bs!!!!!Way to make me feel inadequate :( But never mind, I guess the fact that all these people got such good results is at least partially because of the tuition centre's help so hopefully the same miracle will occur for me xD Bye!!

Freaking tiring day... x.x Lessons were okay I suppose and the health check doctor was really nice but I started feeling super super super lethargic after school ended and we were about to go to MOELC for French... :( And Karis was transferred to another class cos the current class we're in has too many people! D: D: D: D: So sad!!! :(
Anyway then during lesson I somehow got a blocked nose and sore throat!Like no kidding!!!!I was feeling perfectly fine (albeit tired) during break and after break my nose started running like nobody's business and my throat starting feeling sore!!!!lol creepy.And my whole upper arm part hurts like s**t, and well this one I brought on myself by doing quite a lot of women's/men's pumpings in one day after like 3 months of zero physical activity... xD Hopefully the pain fades soon though I can't even do my morning stretch properly now!!! D:
Wow what a whiny post.On to happier things!!! :D I got 94 for my piano theory exam!!! :D Improved by 2 marks from last time's 92 so I'm pretty happy! :) Bleh practical exam coming up soon though... :O And yay my nose (creepily suddenly) isn't running anymore!!! :D Guess it was a one-time thing xD Okay I wanna go take a nap now!Bye!!

Actually I'm not that frustrated about Physics yet,thanks to my teacher who goes super slow so that we can understand what the heck he's talking about xD Thank goodness I'm not in Mrs YSL's class,I bet I'd understand even less than what I do now man! :P
Today's lessons were pretty fun,and I really really really like all my science teachers!!!!! :D :D FAC training was theory/bonding so it was pretty fun and cool too!!!! :D
Wow this is the latest time I've finished all my homework since...a pretty long time ago xD Blame Amaths which took up 2 and a half hours of my time!!!!!!!!!

Slacked today away! :P Mostly just chatted with people on MSN and went on Youtube to listen to songs/covers...and discovered Alex Goot!!! :D Haha his covers are really really amazing,the best I've heard since Mike Tompkins! :O Well technically I wasn't the one who found him...I just went to search for him after I heard my bro replaying his cover of Burnin' Up for the 10000th time xD
Oh yeah my bro went into Xin Min's choir troupe!!!!! :O :O :O I was super super super super shocked when my mum told me cos I expected him to join some UG or rock-climbing or something... -_- Haha anyway since the announcement he's been singing everywhere he goes xD
Ah...FDC in 9 months!!!Some schools apparently have already started training!!! :O Wow this is pretty scary.

I was so so so so so sleepy in school today!Nearly fell asleep during one of the lessons but besides that it was a very...educational day xD I know I sound like a total nerd but it was!!!!!We learnt so many things today!!!!!! :D :D :D (lol should I be worried that this fact excites me tremendously? :P)
The teachers are starting to unleash the dates of the upcoming tests now though so it's getting pretty scary...I hope I'll be able to cope!And apparently since I'm currently studying 10 subjects I'll have to get a distinction for every single subject this year if I want MOE to allow me to study that number of O level subjects o.O Stress much?
Meanwhile my mum's signed me up for HCL tuition in the hopes that it will boost me to an A1 for Chinese Os this year (!!!!!!!!!D: D: D:) and I do hope that it'll help me and my dying HCL marks!Sadly it'll end at 10 pm every Friday starting today... -_- Well at least French's moved to Wednesday so I won't be totally dead beat by the time I get home after tuition! :)

What a long long long long long day.Got home at 8 pm thanks to the rain which slowed down my parents' car progress to MOELC -_- Managed to squeeze in doing some stuff while waiting though so I guess the time wasn't all that wasted :D
Oh yeah hahahahaha turns out MOELC screwed up in Karis,Audi and my class allocations for this year!They put us in a sec 2 class...-_- We started suspecting something was amiss when all three of us got into F2.16 instead of F3 something and then it worsened when the worksheets on the e-portal told us to print revision worksheets marked "Sec 2 - 2011" so we went to the General Office in MOELC to find out and they did mess our classes up xD Anyway the teacher's really nice and funny and French was really really fun!!! :D I didn't realize how much I missed the language until today... (:
Okay I shall stop spending so much time blogging and start familiarizing myself with reporting procedures for tomorrow...OH YES thanks a billion to Nicci and some of my other levelmates for helping me out a lot today!! (: Haha I really don't know what I would've done without them!

Had the best first day of school ever! :D Or at least in SC,anyway.Sec 1 I was far far too nervous and scared to have a good time and last year I was feeling exceptionally depressed for some reason -_-
Lessons today were basically all about teachers pressurizing us like MAD,telling us our class results are the benchmarks for the level and they expect to see straight lines (ie all A1s for the subject) and a whole lot of other stuff like that.Stressed me out like !@#$% but I guess I'm not feeling the real pressure from the work and tests and stuff yet so that's okay! (: Haha there was one teacher who was really good at motivating us though.I think she was my Emath teacher?I can't remember her name but I remember feeling particularly motivated to do well this two years after her speech xD After school was really cool too,went to listen to the UGs' uh,promoting speech and Su-lin ma'am and Aisyah ma'am did a really really good job!!!!!!! :D I hope our level's gonna be able to keep up with that standard next year...
Oh yes before I forget,THANKS SO MUCH to Alyssa, Jan and Isabel for their FLIPPIN' AMAZING Christmas and birthday presents!!!!! :D :D They're super adorable!!!!! :D And also a very big (albeit late) thank you to the birthday video people (Alyssa,Audi,Jan and Nicolette!!!!) for the really really awesome and touching video! :) I really love you people!!! :D
Okay I think I should go and do my Maths homework now...and start digging up my reporting procedures from my stack of RC-related paper so I can start revising since I won't have much time thanks to French tomorrow :O Sigh I really wanted this year's slot to be on Friday!!!Oh well,can't do anything much,I guess.Hope the teacher's nice!I'll miss Mme Pang though. :/

Phewf. Finished editing my dad's business report thingy for grammatical and structural errors -_- My dad's grasp of the English language isn't very good, him living mostly in Indonesia and all. I spent practically an hour editing 3 pages and I think I basically re-wrote 3/4 of the bits I edited xD Haha I don't know why but I kind of enjoy editing these kind of things, they're quite fun actually! :P
I've only finished reading Act 2 Scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet from SparkNotes, and we're supposed to have read the whole thing by the start of school, so I am kind of freaking out now, but I don't seem to care about many things lately so I think I'll just finish reading Act 2 and go to sleep...

Ahhhh finally finished the arduous process of putting up the Gui Lin/Zhang Jia Jie photos on FB!There's still like 4/5 of the pictures that haven't been put up though but I'm too lazy so never mind... -_-
Currently addicted to Flo Rida's Club Can't Handle Me and Uncle Kracker's Smile!!! :D The former reminds me so much of the RCYC post-campfire madness...Hahaha it was amazing! xD Aw I'm glad I'm not as sad about RCYC having gone now but I kind of still want to keep thinking about it if that makes sense...but I guess once the school year starts I'll have other things to worry about!
I don't want school tomorrow!I am excited to see my friends again and check out my new teachers but besides that I'm not really looking forward to the whole no-HE-no-art-no-music-no-CS-no-dance-no-gym bit.It means that we're gonna have lessons practically the whole day!!!GAHHH.Hopefully I'll get used to it fast enough :/

I'm back!!!!!! :D
The trip was so amazing!!!!!!And I changed my mind and decided that I like smaller tour groups after all! :D Much less waiting time and it's easier to "bond" too since there were only three families! :)
Gui Lin and Zhang Jia Jie are both really really really really beautiful cities and I really enjoyed going around taking everything in even though it was really cold :/ Haha after my parents decided to buy me another big fat jacket it got a lot better though :D I'm feeling really lazy so I'm not gonna blog about the whole trip...I just want to sleep now,I woke up at freaking 3.40 am this morning to get off the train on time!!
